Subject: TU-FLO 1000 COMPRESSOR/CHANGE IN OIL RING

Effective July 18, 1975, Serial 1G1875E, all new Tu-Flo 1000 compressors built in Elyria

using oil ring, P/N 234812, will instead use oil ring, P/N 291893. There will be no

change in the piston and pin set.

The new ring sets for Tu-Flo 1000 compressors incorporating this change in the oil ring

are as follows:

288649 Ring Set (.030 0.S.)

The new ring sets for the Tu-Flo 1000 compressors will contain the quantity of rings

needed for the four pistons and will be available in four months. This change will be

incorporated in remanufactured compressors built at the branch plants in about four

months. We will advise effective dates as soon as possible. We recommend that the

above information be posted on catalog page 2X23 for future reference.
