Subject: TU-FLO 501 COMPRESSOR

Certain Tu-Flo 501 compressors in relatively high temperature environments have

developed oil leaks as a result of hardening of the “O” rings sealing end covers and/or

flange adapters. Consequently, new “O” rings of more heat resistant material are now

being used.

The large diameter “O” ring which fits around the bearing projection of end cover or

adapter in the case of sleeve bearings has been changed from pc. #240583 to pc.

#292438.

The four small “O” rings which seal the oil return holes were originally pc. #246440 then

changed to pc. #240450 and now to pc. #292437.

When ordering service replacements for this purpose, please order “O” rings pc.

#292437 and pc. #292438 respectively.
