UPGRADED AD-9 MAINTENANCE KIT

This is to announce the availability of a new, upgraded maintenance kit for the AD-9 air dryer. The new kit,

5005037, replaces the obsolete 5004336 kit.

The change in the kit brings the purge valve up to new design standards. An optimized seal design increases the

air dryer’s resistance to freeze-ups and reduces mechanical sticking of the purge piston. The kit’s assembly tool is

required for inserting the new purge piston.

The new kit has been in production since October 1998. Refer to Installation Instructions (BWS1065) for kits

5005037, 5005893, 107794 and 107796 when using the 5005037 AD-9 maintenance kit.
